Requested Volume 3 mL whole blood tube
Minimum Volume or Pediatric volume 1/2 mL serum or plasma
Sample Information Whole blood volume needed is sufficient to obtain at least 1/2 mL of serum or plasma
Shipping Information Samples are acceptable for up to 5 days refrigerated at 2-8°C. For longer storage, an aliquot may be frozen and stored at ≤ -20°C. Refrigerated samples received in our laboratory within 5 days of collection that will not be tested on the day of sample receipt will be frozen by our laboratory staff and stored until the date of testing.
