What Type Of Donation Should I Make?

  • The most common type of blood donation is whole blood.
  • The process usually takes less than an hour from check-in all the way to the juice and cookies at the end!
  • Once your “whole blood” donation is collected, it is processed into different components for patients.

Blood Types

There are eight basic blood types:
A+, A-, B+, B-, AB+, AB-, O+, and O-

Blood types helps determine who can give and receive from others.
